Intro to Offshore Wind Energy

You will be introduced to:

• Wind Turbines,
• Wind Farms, and
• USA Offshore Wind Energy Scenarios for the Future.

Virtual reality experiences will introduce commuting to and climbing up offshore wind turbines. This learning module will culminate in groups designing offshore wind projects from environmental, economic, or engineering perspectives.

No previous knowledge is required.
There are no prerequisites or expected knowledge of the industry; just an interest in learning about wind energy.
